What are plaza tiles?

Types of plaza tiles:
There are many types of paving bricks available. These include cement-based products and clay-based products. Of course, nowadays the market has seen counterfeit or imitation fire-resistant bricks that mimic the appearance of genuine clay products. However, distinguishing between the real and fake is quite straightforward.
1. The varieties, specifications, colors, patterns, and grades of the paving bricks shall comply with design requirements. Common specifications include 230x115x50/40 mm and 200x100x50/40 mm.
2. Product quality shall comply with the national standard for plaza tiles and must be accompanied by a product certificate of conformity. Products exhibiting chipping, shedding, cracking, or damage shall be rejected and not used.
3. When assessing the quality of plaza tiles, you can also follow these steps:
(1) Examine the appearance—check whether the surface fuzziness appears natural rather than artificially applied.
(2) Examine the interior of the sintered brick to check whether the internal particle density is exceptionally fine.
(3) Tap two bricks together and listen to the sound—good-quality bricks produce a crisper tone.
Thickness of plaza tiles:
Square tiles are available in a variety of standard sizes, including 100×100 mm, 108×108 mm, 150×150 mm, 190×190 mm, 100×200 mm, 200×200 mm, 150×300 mm, 150×315 mm, 300×300 mm, 315×315 mm, and 315×525 mm. They come in an array of colors such as white, white with black dots, pink, fruit green, speckled green, speckled yellow, gray, light speckled gray, dark speckled gray, light blue, dark blue, purplish sand red, purplish sand brown, purplish sand black, black, and reddish-brown. Generally speaking, square tiles can be categorized into three main types: ordinary square tiles suitable for flooring, roofing tiles designed for rooftop applications, and supermarket tiles intended for indoor use.
Standard plaza tiles are also available in tactile paving bricks and boundary stop bricks, typically in gray and black tones. When selecting plaza tile sizes, larger isn't always better—what matters most is that the dimensions meet your specific needs. The most commonly used sizes are 200x200 mm and 300x300 mm, offering a balance of affordability, quick installation, and excellent aesthetic results.
